This opening, based on Luke 5:1-11, is designed to help retreat attendees to embrace Jesus’s invitation to “put out into deeper water.”

An opportunity to release our active work in order to welcome Jesus into the boat and sail with Him into deeper waters.
Opening Worship
Begin time together with praise and thanksgiving for God’s presence and goodness in our lives and work. Rejoice in the ways that we have seen Him work in our lives and the lives of those around us. Bring our needs before Him, knowing that He is willing to provide what we need.
