Scripture Reading: Luke 2:1-20

While Mary is unique as the only person to have God living within her in human form, she is the first of many to welcome Him to live inside.  For God offers us the same privilege He offered her.

But the decision isn’t easy. There is always a cost associated with following Jesus. Mary faced disbelief, scorn, and possible death in her time. Similarly, we risk the misunderstanding and ridicule of our friends and families.

But the exchange is undoubtedly in our favor.  If God is with us, we are never alone.
