Elizabeth
After Zechariah returns home to Elizabeth, she conceives a child. She embraces motherhood as a wonderful blessing from God, “The Lord has done this for me. He has taken away my disgrace from among the people.” She experiences further blessing when the child inside her announces the presence of the Lord inside of Mary.
