Who Am I

Attendees to choose a favorite color of embroidery thread (one piece needed per person, in a variety of colors).

Discuss with people in the same color group:

Roles

• Who are the people in your closest community? What concerns do you have for these people? How do they make it hard for you to be on retreat? What are you letting go of to come here?

• List cares and concerns on cards and put into your Bible, entrusting them to God for this retreat

Character & Abilities

• What do you bring to the community on this retreat?

• Write these on slips of paper and tie onto fishing net

Needs

• What do you need from this retreat: a nap, laughter, music, exercise, fresh air, food, a listening ear, etc.? What would it take for you to give yourself permission to seek out what you need?

• Group writes out coupons giving permission to seek what is needed (Remember to check in later to make sure coupons have been cashed in).
