Jesus as Perfect Love

Scripture Reading: John 12:1-11

Opening Question:

What love or lack of love stands out most to you in this scripture passage?

What relationship-damaging things are going on in this passage? What similar things do you see happening in our world?

What does it look like to love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength? What does it look like to love your neighbor as yourself?

On the surface, Judas has the appearance of caring for the poor, but then we find out that he has hidden motives.  How can acts of service or charity be motivated by selfishness?
